Pros

The fact that they are colored adds to their usefulness and charm. The package also has a deep yellow, which i'll use on certain file types to help differentiate them from others. Not a necessity, of course, but nice.
Cons
These suffer from an engineering problem. When you clip these on a stack of papers and then flip the two handles to make them lay flat, they very often come flying off. These clips are extremely difficult to pinch open.

The lid does not snap or twist on it just sets on top

I dont know why but when i use color coded items i have to arrange them in a certain way

In this case and i dont understand this bizarre need but i have to have the clipped items in the following order white red yellow blue then green
