My only concern of this protector is it does not state the joules rating for protection and there is no reset button in event you have to reset the surge protector

No information about the surge protection so wouldnt use it for that purpose

The thing is you have to unlock the us plug for it to pop out then youll need to lock it after it pops out to keep it in place

Otherwise youre relying on the spring to push the plug into the socket and it wont have nearly enough force to make it go all the way in
