I level the bird bath equally with pebbles except on the side i make it a bit higher and place the copper coaster on top of it and cover it with pebbles for butterflies and bees to drink without drowning making sure water reaches the coaster and covers it but doesnt cover the pebbles placed on the coaster

For the fountain i dont use the attachments so the water height is very short about an inch i guess

Adjustable spout and pump fountain kit not yet installed it does come with fountain pump but its not solar
