Pros

It lowered temps right off the bat. Comes with three thermal pads. The quality is great and the thermal pad it comes with is a lot nicer than i thought it was going to be!

You won't be disappointed just buy it. Nothing to fancy. There are no directions, but just watch a you tube video and it will be apparent.

It cones with all the hardware to do the installation. Easy to install, complete thermal interface, screws and screwdriver. Works great, no problems installing.

Wd sn850 fits perfectly in a ps5. Fit my samsung ssd and had the proper sizing for the internal ps5 bay. It fits great in my ps5 and i now have an extra 2gb to game with. Wd 850 fits in a samsung 980 pro m 2 ssd.

Cons

The drive idle at 43-45 celsius without heatsink. After install the heat sink, still idle around the same temp. I have only google chrome with 3 tabs opened and have been idling at 57 celsius.

Competitiveness

Bought it for a ps5 fits and works great

I wish it was a bit easier to get right but it does work fine and yes it fits in a ps5

There isnt much ambient heat in my case either since i have a 9900k cooled by an nzxt kraken x73 and 1080ti cooled by an nzxt kraken x53

I was wrong however as this takes little more space than the initial nvme ssd itself did
