The fit around the screen is rather bulky and could give a bit more slenderness for pull down menus on the devices screenyou have to rotate upside down to make that gesture work

Edit discovered to make the auto sleepwake feature work i had to reposition my fire a bit to get it as far in the frame as possible so the magnets lined up just right

Once i got it moved over to the right about 18 the sleepwake feature worked

My only complaint is that the frame covers the home button somewhat and i have to pull it back to have full access for the button otherwise i only hit half of it and sometimes whatever screen i am on thinks i want to do something other than go back home

The case has to be closed and line up with the far side for the magnets to be effective

Its a non issue if you ask me since tapping the power button does the same thing
