Another benefit to this thermometer is that it reads in fahrenheit and celsius and can be easily switched by pushing the appropriate button

Im not so worried about the handle but the battery compartment does seem like it wont hold up well to extended use

The large lcd screen makes it easy to read at any angle or distance and the hold button saves the registered temperature on the screen if you cannot see it while testing

There is an onoff button but the thermometer automatically turns off whenever the probe is folded away to extend the battery life

I have just received my nuivta digital thermometer and put it through its basic functions and it seems to work just fine but since i have just received it i have no idea as to how long it will work
