Pros & Cons
Pros
View is crisp and clear. Appears to be solid brass & finish nicely matches our brass door hardware. Wide angle lens picks up a lot of viewing area.
Good value and nice improvement to our older (20 year old) peep hole.
The viewer is made well and easily screws together. Fast shipping, easy install.
Use a garden hose rubber washer under outside flanged lip to make more water tight fit when tightening to door. The panel section of mine is thinner than this will fit, but i found a washer to fit inside.
Cons
Don't trust this not to happen again. Please advise. Doesn't sit flush against the door.
Images are hazy through this door viewer. It is not included inside a box, but inside a tiny cheap plastic transparent bag. Is has zero quality.
Highlights
Quality
Docked one star from ease of installation purely because of drill bit issue but still 5 stars for overall product
You need a 58 in door hole in tge door the fit product
Others on amazon charge way too much for the same quality
Competitiveness
Not a big deal but i was replacing an old viewer which was a 12inch hole
