Pros

Love the launchpad pro. This one is my fav. The possibilities are practically endless! All with a single hand. An experience i never anticipated having.

Capture midicapture midi works amazingly well. If you already have a'regular' keyboard adding this into the mix gives it a whole new life. It's the most advanced midi controller i've purchased so far.

There are 3 different button layouts that are drum scale and chromatic. The * are sturdy but feel great. Custom color code and layout is a great help for my application.

These days almost all daws have a form of triggering loops or one-shots. Great to use for hot keys with music & video apps (i. Used apcs and akai fire in the past) works with ableton of course; and it has 3 configurable modes.

Cons

The customizable software is junk and very limited. I thought launch pads would revolutionize the market by allowing average people and dj's to make music easily.

Gifted this launchpad to a music production beginner and the joy it brought was priceless
