Pros & Cons
Pros
Small enough to fit in palm of hand. Works well for grinding small batches of spices. Uses it for blending/crushing herbs, and it's does the job beautifully. Uses 2 tbs of seeds, but 1 tbs at a time would be better.
Beautifully marbled as pictured. This is small and lightweight but still sturdy.
Easy to clean other than the indent in the middle. My husband loves it & it is very convenient. Easy to hand wash. Ez to use.
Cons
A thin transparent film is getting peeled off from the mortar after several use. A little texture is nice for gripping the seeds but this to rough and unfinished. When the seeds are ground they all stick in the roughness and you can't get them out.
