Pros
It's sturdier than any others i've used. It seems really durable and high quality. I just wish that this item a=cam in prettier colors.
This gadget reduces the amount of stirring to create a nice smooth gravy. Works just the way i wanted it to for making sausage gravy, etc. It helps eliminate lumpy gravy/sauces.
The rubber coating insures no scratching. This really excellent, springy, nonstick-safe version is a must-have for every utensil drawer.

I've never been able to make gravy from scratch (that's edible, anyway).

I made sauces using a skillet instead of a saucepan because it gave me a better chance of being able to get all the ingredients whisked together with a regular wire whisk, that created its own issues.
