    You will see that it has the cross pleats which are important to keep filter firm so it doesn’t bow in when air kicks on

    We bought these filters because they were the only ones we could find either online or in store that were the size we needed we must have an unusual sized furnace with a high mers rating

    I have air flow monitors here these do well even when they appear to be dirty but once you install anything over a merv rating of 12 that air flow changes rapidly with lite dust accumulation because the pore size of the filter material gets deeply saturated quicker the filters must be changed more often
