I cleaned the tub and waited for it to be dry before putting the mat in and it didnt stick very well

Now i just pull it up to clean and put it back on the tub floor wet or dry doesnt seem to matter as soon as you stand on it it sticks

I didnt find it had much of a smell hung it outside on the clothes line over night before using it just in case

It was a light plastic smell similar to a barbie doll and it was gone after one bath

Also and i suppose most importantly since i have suction cupped it to the floor it has never moved and i have never slipped again
