I originally planned to use this bath mat in the tub directly to prevent slippage but i didnt realize my tub is textured so that didnt work well with the suction cups

As far as cleaning is concerned if you dry it every day and wash it here in there you shouldnt have molds

Then you simply rinse it with running water all the dirt will come off
