You need four items to play electric guitar, and sound phenomenal. Many guitarists use some kind of clean boost to hit the front of their amp to put some hair on it and give it a fuller, more responsive tone.

Chicago music exchange is a favorite retailer. This petal gives me every thing i been looking for i love it. And lastly, the amazon rating system has sheerness as an option.

It ranges from warm, bluesy overdrive to almost rat like distortion. It really is the most underrated overdrive available. Not a flat eq curve but a very natural sounding one.

Everything just gets richer and the harmonics really come out. As with most things in music, the devil is in the nuances and your personal preference. Great tone-shaping capabilities.

Cons

The housing was scratched, mottled and discolored. Nobels has some serious qc issues going here.

I plan on doing a sidebyside with the boss od1 but for right now im extremely happy with the odr1

Its either too cartoonish with the bass cut switch off or thin sounding with it on

Its an odd duck and ive not even bothered with the bass cut switch although i can see there being a need for it with a humbucker

Price

200 seems to be the standard price for nicer pedals these days so it’s definitely a plus that the price is right too
