The typing experience on both the brown and blue switches is inferior to that on the ibm model m which i also use in my lab the model i have is from 1991 but this is an unfair comparison

The blue switches are loud and sound plasticky so it might be a nogo in open offices

My biggest complaint is with the switches though although they are pretty good to type on the key feel is inconsistent throughout the board and this is pretty obvious on the bigger keys

That said there are some issues with the keyboard out of the box for mac users that the company needs to fix

First off it needs to better explain the functionality of the win lock key in its manual as its on by default and makes certain keys nonfunctionalborderline useless on the device when first being installed on the mac

I had to call their support to get an explanation of what was going on and the issues didnt resolve themselves until i had unplugged the keyboard and plugged it back in

Ideally i would be able to set the bottomrow and functionrow keys any way i wanted with a tool offered by nixeus but no such tool exists

In fact this keyboard isnt recognized at all by the mac as anything other than a default keyboard
