    So i did and even the camera store said they have more people send this to nikon to get fixed ($150 aver bill) than get a new one because they are that good.

    People are irrational and feeding the frenzy of unscrupulous sellers trying to sell their old stock of sb800.

    People wake up, the sb800 is not a collectible unlike old professional lenses whose lens were hand polished -- it is just a piece of obsolete plastic electronics.

    If you want to use radio signals but still use ttl data then you could use those radio poppers.
