I have to say im very pleased with the results
Amazing photo quality fast autofocus and a definite essential to every photographer
On a d810 the picture quality is the same and feels a little quicker at focusingi never shot the 1
Completely overpriced for the quality of the lens

Luckily i was able to sell the lens for pretty much the price i paid for it and i exchanged it for the 1
I wasnt sure if given the price differential to the f1
Competitiveness
I have a canon full body 5d mark ii with equiv lens and this nikon blows the iq of the canon away in my opinion
Delighted i bought it for my d750
I use on a d5500 but i find the focal length perfect for portraits giving a nice distance to work from
Oh and another thing its a third of the price of the f1

My only negative is my copy back focussed slightly which took 10 minutes or so to adjust for in camera but once set up no problems might be worth checking if you can manually set you focus calibration on your camera

Always make sure you check the condition of the lens the nikon boxes dont come sealed as well as the focal length of the lens which is written on the barrel before gifting

I know clear and sharp sounds like the same thing but until youve seen the difference you may not believe that they are two different things especially if youve been shooting zooms before
