Your hands shake and if the shutter speed is high enough you cant see the shake from your hands in the photos

But when using these long telephotos with slow apertures when the shutter speed drops below something on the order of 1200 you are going to start getting blurred photos

In good light with higher shutter speeds used to stop action the lack of vr really makes no difference to speak of

The zoom didnt go as far as i needed and of course the auto focus didnt work all the way which i heard after the fact is typical for this camera
