Image quality is really superb with nikon 1 lenses
I put the fastest 64 gb memory card in i could get and never had any problem with the camera stopping whilst it wrote to the card
Image quality is excellent as is the phase detect autofocus

My d5100 is among the best for dynamic range and i cannot see any difference
Theyre small but thats the price you pay for having a small camera
That is the price you pay for a pocket camera

Manual focus works but is nothing like as fast as on an slr

There is also an adapter available so that the camera can take any of nikons fmount lenses
The camera is part of nikons 1 range and will accept any lens in from that range
A vgood 4k camera at a good price go to get into 4k photos
This needs to be at least 30fps for it to look smooth

There is no viewfinder on the camera instead youll need to use the screen at the back this is ok and it has been visible in quite bright daylight

That the j5 gives you the ability to manually set the camera is welcome and so is the ability to let it take over some of the settings while you play with the others is welcome too

Amongst the more interesting video features are slowmo fastmo and timelapse though these are all limited in the duration of the footage which can be shot

The quality of the images captured is fine although the jpegs dont fair so well against other manufacturers the nikon can also capture in raw format in which it surpasses other similar cameras
