Connections are simple & straightforward as well since these cams are poe. Night owl smartphone app is good as well. Nvr-10 camera has excellent night vision and very good clarity.

It is easier to use the menu setup and configure everything from a computer vs the remote control or night owl mouse interface. Move your monitoring screens during setup ul = upper left, lr = lower right etc. I have trees & and stuff that'll trigg... Read More

Once you have the pertinent info configured be sure to save your settings - duh - and then immediately go to the advanced area & change the time-out setting for the main menu longer.

Cons

Com is out of warranty. Customer support tells me there is no manager i can speak with, i am without my dvr for 2-3 weeks to return and have repaired.

Wouldn't recommend this system. This is the worst system i bought ever. Do not waste your money.

Camera viewing is not very intuitive. The cost of owning these is not in the product, but in wasted time trying to figure out why cameras don't show up in the user interface application. The app is terrible and we can only access our cameras about 10%... Read More
