I personally didnt want a glass heater i was about to buy another off amazon which was amazon choice but read some awful reviews of the heaters blowing up and destroying tanks

It is bright though even at night when the fish light is off you can see a giant beam of light from the led screen on this heater an option to turn down the brightness would be good but i think thats asking a lot from a fish heater

Did not take long at all to get the water to 79 and it’s holding it there just fine

The only things id wish for are 1 a slightly longer cord currently 5 feet and 2 option to turn off andor dim the digital display
