The little combs on the ends really help take out clumpy-ness. Also has a comb at the bottom to seperate clumps. Vertical ridges help keep the lashes separated during mascara application and prevents clumping.

This thing is ridiculous. Inferior material product is made of. Difficult to use. There are instructions on the package, but the instructions are written in a foreign language, chinese maybe.

Not impressed at all. It's very flimsy and there are no directions in english. Do not love it.
