Cons

I work for a west coast tech company and maybe 10% of the topics in this book were helpful for me. There is some good stuff here, but i felt like there was a lot of “filler’ and something’s that were borderline ridiculous. Very outdated material.

This book basically encourages women to not be women. It discourages women from being too much like men. Most of the book tells women to accept the sexist values of the workforce in america by bending over and being everything a man wants you to be.

This book is the most misogynistic, elitist and borderline racist garbage i’ve ever read. And in a very *, mean spirited way.

The book exclaims that tattoos make you unprofessional and how much of an uneducated mistake you have made to simply follow a trend. Long hair on women is unprofessional? Women who don't play into office politics/gossip, etc.
