Although the top and bottom of the case are open the corners of the case do wrap around giving the corners of the phone protection

It grabs and holds the phone nicely with a little lip running around the screen which also means that when placed face down the screen does not touch the surface

If you frequently use headphones or aux out then you will want to check how thick the plug is as you might not be able to use it

As this is a problem i have had with various casesbrands i will not deduct stars in addition as i use bluetooth headphones it no longer is an issue

The case can be a bit uncomfortable at the bottom however that could be just the way i hold the phone with my little finger supporting its weight

Great case if you would prefer to not have a case but want to protect your phone
