Despite apples superior design in most things they seem to intentionally create these cables so that they cannot withstand daily use for more than 6 months or so without starting to tear or fray i say intentionally because apple clearly has the capability to create a studier cable but then they wouldnt be able to sell us all the replacement ones in most cases if i have plugged my iphone into my macbook with a replacement nonapple made cable my laptop would go crazy telling me it wasnt recognized with an error message that would pop up every few seconds which made it impossible to even use the cable to charge my phone via my laptop even if i was ok with not being able to sync my phone with it

This cable however is a much better quality than i have found in prior replacement cables

This cable has charged my iphone 6 plus fine with no problems at all

Perhaps most surprising when i attach my iphone to my macbook using this cable my laptop treats it as if it were a genuine apple cable
