Whatever you do dont put the microphone by the speaker or you will get loud feedback which is completely normal

The modes are either radio or talk with microphone as far as i can tell

This was a very nice item that came with a lot of extras but i had to return it not because it did not work but because i made a mistake in thinking that it was just a portable radio

Although he projects his voice well it can get difficult to hear him well sometimes especially if there is other noise going on

I dislike anything on my head and when i tried it on it is so light weight and shaped in a way you almost dont feel it
