The newborne 290 elite gun has a very smooth and powerful action. The grip is comfortable, which reduces hand fatigue for doing lots of caulking and glueing, and may even increase accuracy. Only down side is no tip cutter on it.

Only thing i dont like is that for the cost which is not your average calk gun price when using it and stop calking pressing the button to stop pressure on the calk tube the calk keeps coming out and i find that it is wasting calk

Some of the calk i use is 12 to 14 dollars a tube so i would give it a thumbs down with that

I had to come back a week later wasting time just because of the piece of junk caulk gun i picked up at a big box store
