It makes ice for our family about 1215 hours a day every day and weve experienced none of the issues mentioned elsewhere in these reviews

The ice could be called wet but that only means its not like the ice you buy at the store or get from your refrigerator ice maker

The unit is insulated remember not refrigerated

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It does make a little bit of noise but no more than a refrigerator makes when its running and making ice

The instructions dont tell you this but all you have to do when the bin is full and the light comes on is take the bin out empty it put it back in the machine and close the lid

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

After a minute or so the maker figures out that the bin is no longer full the red light goes out and it starts making ice again automatically

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Our last two samsung home refrigerators had the icemakers go bad

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The warranty company could not fix either so we cashed out the warranty
