Switch the straighteners on at the side of the handle of the brushthen for thicker hair you set the temperature to 210230 by pressing the temperature switch which is also on the side below the onoff switch
Secondly for common hair set to 190210thirdly for thin hair if you have it again temperature to 170200 you do have to be careful that you dont burn yourself just like all hair straighteners
The straighteners come with a bag for you to keep neat and tidy for when not in use over all this product is excellent and im pretty sure my daughter will recommend them to her friendsalso this product will make a perfect gift
