Cons

Device melted during use. Problem is with appliance plug fitting into the adapter. Will replace plug and go back to using powerbar with on/off switch. Rating at 1875 watts is questionable.

The smell is baked in to the thick rubbery plastic casing. The switch's components accumulated vaporized cooking byproducts. It melts with the heat from the electrical outlet and produces dangerous gases poisonous to humans.
