Highlights
Quality
Orbi ethernet ports are rated at 1 gbps so this 1 gbps ethernet switch works like a charm
I did not need to set anything up or connect with the app
Silent running and worked to increase my throughput with the newly released xfinity modem
Also in case anyone was wondering i originally had one managed switch in the living room for the stb to work with the wireless setup
Price
The only downside is the cost difference between linksys and netgear
Packaging/appearance
The switch is also wall mountable to keep it discrete out of the way
Competitiveness
This gigabit smart switch is a highquality reasonably priced solution to add 16 ports to your home or office network
I was running out of ports and wanted more but i have uverse tv and needed a managed switch
This one gs105 1gbs replaced an fs105 100mbs switch that was still working strong after more than a decade and a half
Warranty was better than most competing units though hopefully will not be needed
