Product is so bare bones that you cannot intelligently program or automate much. When my 3 sensors stopped connecting (they show offline) i am still unclear - is the battery dead?

With the sensor i have exactly a temperature which i want it a certain place in our bedroom
However the sensor i bought with the third nest thermostat expands the whole range of usage of it

Would not pair with an existing nest gen 3 thermostat until i did a full factory reset and reinstall in nest app

Web search returned that this can happen occasionally and the only fix is remove from app factory reset thermostat and reinstall install
