I contacted the company (i had not opened the flanges yet) and they accepted my return no problem.

They were loose on the spectra flange, like they couldn’t quite screw on all the way.

The flange isn't as clear but it's made no difference in quality of the product.

Fits my pump parts fine, a little tighter on the part it connects to but just like the instructions say, twist it on/off, don’t just pull.
