Pros
This external mic windshield is a great replacement to paying extra money for a brand name like rode or similar brands. It is a little bit big for the takstar mic, but that's no biggie. Works better than the one that comes on my thousand dollar mic.
Cons
The windscreen is of considerable girth, even with the foam screen installed. It fits the takstar sgc-598 microphone poorly. Hairs are so long it actually muted out the audio.

Price
Piece of advice if you want to fix this problem use a rubber band or a scrunchy is works perfectly

It stands out very well straight from the packaging and works better than the one that comes on my thousand dollar mic

I bought this for my takstar smg598 its well made and works great
I have it ontop of a panasonic g85 mirrorless camera and it literally looks like theres a cat laying ontop of it
Im using it on my takstar shotgon mic and theres a good inch gap at the end

I bought it with the takstar mic as recommended by amazon but it can only be fit on top of the original black foam filter that comes woth the takstar mic

What else can i say these are dead cats and they do what dead cats are designed to do filter out wind noise
