Bought it for my t6i and it works great.
I have two neewer grips for my cameras (canon rebel t1i and t6i) and both of them work and fit nicely.

Using with aftermarket batteries, and it works great despite not having decoded batteries, just no battery indicator.

There's even a cradle on the connector to hold the original battery door should you decide to remove the grip.
