The stand is perfectly adequate all metal construction (except for the knobs ofc) it's very nice and works perfectly. Very easy set up. Great little starter setup.
The mica are awesome and even if it only lasted a year or two id get more. Just starting up a pod cast here and go na be buying another mic for the guests. Mic quality is fine.
If you are looking for something thats entry level and isnt a piece of garbage this definitely is a good buy. The swing arm kit is an excellent value!
Cons
This is not durable to many moves out of the standard. You have to pay to ship it out to get it repaired. Forget the lamp holder, or any of it.

Other wise if your too far according to my friends it sounds ok and picks up background noise
