Pros & Cons

Pros

Matte box prevents glare and lens flare. Works with neewer camera cage and rails. Does a good job of keeping stray light out of the lens.

For 15 bucks, and delivered to my doorstep, whatever. If you need a nearly disposable matte box, this is the one. Most definitely worth the price.

Made from plastic but still feels sturdy. The body without the barn doors is a single piece of pretty strong aluminum, possibly cnc. Just snap it together carefully and no problems.

Grate for pro or beginner and would recommend it. As long as you know what this is, a cheap sun shade, it's great value. To prevent any confusion, this product is not a matte box but rather a sun shade.

Cons

This product is cheaply made and should be at the dollar store. This is one to avoid that serves no purpose and makes other filmmakers look at you funny.
