This particular Neewer tripod is very good, being Carbon Fibre it's light and sturdy, locking mechanism is very good too. The extended height is just right. The ball head is good and solid with a fluid movement. The only downside and gripe I have is with the Tilt and Pan Fluid Video Head - it's certainly NOT Fluid at all. It's quite stiff - I thought that after a bit of use it would get easier and free up, but no it doesn't. The head is quite cumbersome and is too heavy, so makes the whole thing 'top heavy' and completely contradicts the idea of the Carbon Fibre tripod being light. I've kept the Tripod, as on the whole it's very good - just the Pan and Tilt Head that's not so good. If I could go back, I would have bought the Tripod on it's own with just the Ball Head, it's cheaper and as I said before very good, but bought a separate and different Pan and Tilt Head.   Read Less
