While on vacation with family, the camera was dropped on to a concrete surface and the lens fell off.

A few curvilinear plastic fragments were noted next the camera body and the lens which were laying on the ground.

Although the lens still fit into the body, it would not stay locked in.

Estimate of nearly 175 dollars for a fix.

Would have given 5 stars to the neewer® bayonet mount ring if not for the screw hole which holds the spring button and wire assembly to the mounting ring being too small for the screw removed from the original, broken mount.

I then backed out the screw, inserted the spring button assembly then inserted the screw.
