It is skinny though and didnt fit in my camera mount when i used it on my camera

Its a mono mic but they shipped it with a stereo cable so i only hear audio in one ear

At this time i tried the onboard battery option of the mic and also using phantom power without mic battery supplied by a tascom dr40 audio recorder

However i have read this mic type electret capsule may not be intended to be run by phantom power supplied through an xlr battery not installed in mic as the phantom power voltage may be too high and could kill the mic

This mic does exactly what it needs to it gives solid directional focus to your recording giving you raw but not unkind sound

If you have decent plugins this mic is already worth it for any audio use but dont hold it in your hand
