I can only speak for myself when i say that it worked perfectly for my needs straight out of the box

Performs with no issues connecting a sky hd box and a bluray player to a single hdmi port on the tv
I bought this as opposed to a cheaper brand because of the reputation of the manufacturer and reported good customer service

Remote not very good but not really required as the unit is close by the monitors being used

Samsung 40 odd inch only has 2 hdmi one of which is designated to virgin tivo box

With this 5 port neet addition which i have xbox one apple tv and blue ray hooked up too i have the ability to swap platforms at the touch of a button on the small included remote

The other product remote wasa nightmare this one works fine though does struggle when more than 2 meters from the detector
