Update Two:Increasing rating to 4 stars now that it seems to be working. I finally got around to replacing the inlet. I'm not a mechanic, so I don't own a socket wrench set, which is required to replace the power inlet. Socket wrench sets are more expensive than I was anticipating, but I guess I should have them around anyway. I had to disassemble the body of the bike (which came pre-assembled). It was super involved. Needed to remove a lot of attachments to be able to remove the side panel (shroud). The whole deal took me about 45 minutes. Once everything was open, it was just a matter of disconnecting the power inlet from the internal wiring and replacing it with the new one...then reassembly. Thankfully, everything seems to be working now, no power failures so-far. Crossing my fingers.Update One:Called Nautica/Bowflex to explain the adaptor problem, they were very nice and set up a warrantee claim for a new power adaptor, power inlet, and crank puller (tool to remove pedal arms). They asked me to send my proof of purchase so they can ship the items. I sent the proof of purchase and they sent the crank puller within a couple of days (took 5 more days to arrive), never shipped the actual adaptor and inlet. I called back and they said they could not ship them because they did not receive my proof of purchase (even though I received an email that acknowledges receipt of the proof, and the crank puller had already shipped), re-sent the proof of purchase and received the remaining parts in another 5 days. I first just switched the adaptor to see if that was the problem, but the power kept shutting off, so I know I have to replace the inlet, which requires disassembly. I retrieved the crank puller sent to me by nautica, pulled out the instructions and found out that I need additional tools that I do not own. Guess I'm getting a new set of tools. For now, the electrical tape seems to be working ok, I'll update when I get around to replacing the inlet.Original Post:The bike is pretty sturdy (I'm 6'3 250lbs and this holds up well during intense workouts). The seat is plenty tall and can even go a few inches taller if I needed it. The display is bright with lots of data. Nice features like goal tracker and workout selection (my favorite right now is pike's peak). Pretty easy to put together - took me about 45 minutes by myself. I don't use the speakers, they aren't very good (as you might expect). Heart monitor is a little glitchy as it continues to read my heart rate even after I've removed my hands (which kind of screws up the goal tracker), when I am gripping the sensors, the heart monitor does seem accurate, though the accuracy seems to be decreasing the more I use it. HOWEVER! The adaptor or input doesn't work properly. It sometimes comes loose and the bike will turn off in the middle of a workout. When I'm 29 minutes in at a resistance level of 10 and the power just shuts off, it's really disruptive. I have to get off the bike, readjust the adaptor and get back on. Also, when it does that, none of my progress gets saved. I've taped the adaptor/input with about a half roll of electrical tape...we'll see what happens. I'm sure if I call nautilus, they'll have a solution, I would just rather it work correctly in the first place. Read Less
