The pros improves tremendously your passive safety by giving you very wide angle view and minimizing the blind spots being slightly convex it minimizes reflections from the headlights of the cars behind you enables eye contact with children in the back seat without the need for inefficient additional mirrors

Con you cant use the flip function or lose the autodim function of your oem mirror at night for me though this is far compensated by its advantages

Only disappointment was that i was going to buy another napolex mirror to fit over an acura sedan mirror which is more curved and it would not work

Once youve tried this its hard to go back to the oem mirror

It may take some a little time to get used to the convex view because it gives you so much more to see and take in but it should be a short learning curve

You will probably have to move your head a bit to see your blind spots and if you have a passenger sitting next to you you may not be able to see that side at all
