Pros & Cons

Pros

The nakamichi seems to do a slightly and i mean slightly better job on this challenging piece. The build quality is superior and reminds of a $300 b0ze pair in the way it folds, it's case, etc. Mid and high notes are crisp and well balanced.

Nakamichi has a pleasing blue on light as compared to the ubiquitous bose green. They use two batteries rather than a single one like the bose. That translates into longer battery life on the ipod.

The best part of these headphones is of course the noise cancelling. They are best suited to cancelling low frequency humming sounds, obviously for jet drone. The earmuffs certainly help, but earplugs is your best solution.

Superglue the joints where the swivel hinge is. Use black duct tape. These things are awesome.

Cons

These headphones have pretty descent noise cancelling, but the swiveling earpiece broke after two weeks. Bose is about the only way to go for noise canceling … but for the budget-conscious, that's not an option.

Appearances are deceiving. The nak's aren't worth it.

One of the earpieces fell off after a short time. It is now detached from the headband except for the wires. Over-the-ear headphone is completely unusable once the structural integrity is compromised.

The opportunity to own a nakamichi for such an affordable cost

The package comes with all the adapters you will need for air travel and a nice carrying case

34 i cant agree unless their headsets are significantly different than the two sets i have bought
