I coloured my hair black as it was kind of brown.

Once i received it, i dyed it black to match my natural hair, and it took color nicely, once i added conditioner, the hair felt like silk.

The hair took well to my stylists shampoo and conditioner and once dried (under dome dryer), there was no difference in the texture.
