Pros & Cons
Pros
The hose has a fairly small diameter so a small trench is all that is needed to bury it. In the spring or late fall when the ground is porous, is the perfect time to dig trench.
The hose cuts easily and can be connected to another with the included coupler. The materials are resistant to corrosion, ensuring long-term functionality. The tubing works well and also fastened together well.
It fits perfect, but will have to give an update on how it withstands the fridged temps. It's winter here, so i'm not installing this for a few months.

Low profile design ensures it blends seamlessly into the landscape. Mesh screen to keep debris from clogging the main drain. Proving a first layer of debris/silt protection.
Cons
The hose clamp is useless and the hose will not stay on. The hose needs a smooth end that will go onto the catch basin. The main water catcher is really light making it impossible to keep in place during high winds.

Past putting in a french drain which would be in a ridiculous location not to mention the cost was about the only last resort
Inexpensive and a complete kit to fix a lawn drainage problem
However for this price i wouldnt expect any of it to be metal

The grate shipped with the unit is fine for a garden area with rare foot traffic but not much more
Packaging/appearance
They are actually packaged nice enough for gifting
The in ground box will keep the dirt from washing away and send the excess water down the swale
The design on the top of the box thing is pretty and not run of the mill at all
Competitiveness
Then sealed it with flex seal as i do all the yard connections to keep the roots out
