Pros
I use these for installations with polished stone counter tops where reflections of the led dots are annoying. They are nice and thin so they don't add a lot of bulk to the install. Keeps everything in place on the carpeted liner.
This is great aluminum track- easy to cut on a chop saw and makes the tape light look high end. The channels and plastic covers are easily cut with a fine tooth hacksaw.

There is just enough room in the channel to fit the connectors to keep them hidden

They could easily be routered into the bottom of a floating shelf and would look really nice compared to just peel and stick installation
