About 10 minutes before we wanted to play outside i would light one of these in the vicinity we were planning to be in by the time wed come outside the mosquitoes were gone and we could play or relax in peace

But the trick is to make sure you get the thick sticks like these opposed to the regular incense size sticks in order to give off enough scentsmoke to make it work
