Pros & Cons
Pros
Who dun it' is a great * mystery with a * heroine and a great mystery to solve. The author's *, curious personality is infectious. Listened on my hoopla app.
The small irish village of kilbane is the setting for this enchanting mystery. Carlene o'connor is nice enough to include how to pronouce names that some people don't know how to pronounce. Thoroughly enjoyed this cozy irish * mystery.
The book is quite a roller coaster ride. There are things that i didn't like about it, but isn't that true for all books. I hope that this has helped you find your next tantalizing tome!
Cons
This book was clearly written by an american. As the investigation progresses the author drags the story line. There were so many characters with so little to differentiate between them.
The constant overuse of irish slang is typical of american ex-pats. The irish villagers depicted are an insular, backwards, narrow-minded bunch. Also, inaccuracies in portraying cork people.
