Pros

The meter also comes with a thermocouple for temperature measurement up to 250 degree celsius. It also has an auto off function which takes it into standby mode if it is idol for longer than 15 seconds, ideal for saving battery power.

Main dial is very clear and easy to follow. Central dial has a positive feel to it. On the back of the meter is a flashlight which will prove invaluable in dark recesses. Led torch on the rear of the case is bright and will light up a wide area.

The screen has good sized digits and a backlight making it easy to read even in the darkest of network cabinets/cupboards. The instruction are a bit small but can be down loaded on line if need be. Backlight is good and the display is nice and big.

Test leads loose when plugged into mtr sockets. What a diappointment. The warning as to the unreliability is the 2 sets of leads.

If i had a moan about something it would be that it did not come with the 4 x aa batteries needed to use it

The orange outer rubber base is far too narrow to rest the meter on with the hinged stand down
